CALL OF DUTY 5 ...._/•-----

COD5 is out atlast in INDIA.
I already have it lagging a bit..
so i'll run the game after i get a new gpu.
till then this is my overview on this game ......
A first person shooter from Active vision based on WWII events. This game features the conflicts that took place between Japanese and US ( and Soviets and Germans (Eastern Front) in single player campaign. The game also features up to 4 player Co-Op mode. In the single player campaign you get to play as few different characters : Private Miller of the USMC for the US missions and Private Dimitri Petrenko of the Red Army for the soviet missions. The missions are given based on dates. You begin as an US soldier then after completion of few missions you'll be taken to Germany to show you what’s going on in there. There’s also another playable character in the game that’s on an air strike mission for the US (loved this level).

Also to be noted that the theme of the game seems to be more matured. While loading there’s an audio which says the new recruit calls you the Old Breed when you haven’t even crossed your twenties. You'll be shown how your team mates react when a leader dies and also a soviet writer who faces the horror of war.

Ghajini The Game ??!! ??

I was really impressed when I watched Ghajini ( thnx to my friend ). I love action movies and could never even imagine that its game would be out soon. We get games of movies like Harry Potter , Eragon, Hulk, Spiderman etc,. but this was really suprising. I found out that it is a CD game so its not gonna have massive requirements nor it is gonna be a huge one. I am all set to get my copy and start playing. I came to know about it while surfing youtube and checking out some Ghajini songs.

The film makers were all set to take Indian film making to the next level with a supporting full fledged 3D computer game based on the movie. This brings us to the game that is touted to be the first Indian Action 3D game - which it is not, the first 3D full fledged game made by an Indian Gaming Studio was Bhagat Singh.

The Artwork
The artwork is dark and crisp, totally relevant to the concept of the movie. The artwork will remind players of the artwork found in comic books by Indrajal, like Bahadur, of course, we would have to be in the age range of 25-30 to have this connect

Yipee !!! My Youtube Channel !!

After doing a lot of research work atlast I made my youtube channel concerning gaming vids. I have uploaded a couple of gameplay vids. As my gfx card is old the graphics are not that good . I'll be uploading better vids after I get my new graphic card. My name is UpamanyuDevil. Click on that pic to view my youtube account. Please do leave a comment if you have liked my vids.

L4D was just OKAY

Atlast I got what I was searching for a month. Left 4 dead for PC. I stood amazed to find its original copy at a gamestore. I found the requirements to be not that much as I expected and was happy to find my geforce 7200 can run it. Anyways, i'll get a new gfx card soon, so I didnt care. The shooting techniques are pretty old and I found the graphics to be a bit oackward ( that's maybe because of my gfx card ). Blood effects and human textures were pretty nice. It's a lot more fun playing multiplayer with friends on LAN than playing Single. I found the Internet gameplay a bit laggy. Steam is a lot upgraded now. The Storyline was just okay but yet got no clue how all this zombiness started . I found Francis to be the best among the four.I would recommend to rent it, buy it only If you have a LAN connection with your friends. I found the levels small, thats what makes it more interesting not making players bore if you are stuck in one level. It just satisfied me in its overall performance and i would rate it 7/10.

• • Game Until You Die • •

It was April '08 when i fell for gaming. Nowdays I spent more time infront of my computer than I used to a year or two ago. This was the first gaming site I came to know about that gave me all the info I needed to become a gamer. I upgraded my comp very recently and it has been a month or two. My gfx card has become old and rotten. After my B'day Celebration on a Born Fire at 1st Jan, I am all set to buy a new gfx card as my b'day gift. Its getting delayed and making me the more irritated. I like action-adventure games a lot. Right now I am also addicted to some MMORPG's. I find this the best. I bought the GTA IV for PC but yet not even unpacked it.
I am still with San-Andreas. I like its multiplayer software too. Studies are also getting tougher.
Two years more and I am sitting for my boards. I just completed Crysis Warhead and found it to be a very short game. Interesting and boring at the same time.
